EMPTIES: I

Finally, I finished enough products to make an empties blog post! It took hell of a long time to finish all of these, some of which have been used up since a couple months ago (the Lush face masks). Heh, whateber.

So my mom and I like to stock up on all things Bath & Body Works when the annual sale comes way...and I mean like 10 bottles of lotion, body wash, and wallflowers EACH! Yeah, we're pretty serious about our B&B. Unfortunately, this Lemon body wash was the only scent left on their sales racks since we went on the last day of their sale. -_-' I'm not much of a lemon scent person, I find it to be a bit too sugary sweet. It kind of gives me a headache after a while too. However, this body wash grew on me! It gives off a squeaky clean scent in the shower, it actually brightened my mood afterwards. Like all of B&B body wash, they don't actually have any positive or negative effect on my skin. I guess it's just EH. Otherwise, I really do like the scent. Not my favorite, but a decent body wash nonetheless.

I was soo excited to try the Organix brand shampoo and conditioners! I was so pleased to find that my Walgreens was having a buy-one-get-one-free sale. I immediately bought it within a heartbeat. This conditioner smells soooo good. I'm horrible at explaining aromas, hmph, I would best describe it as a high end fruity scent?? Seriously though, the smell lingers for a good amount of time...it's like heaven. LOL. The formula is also very thick, which is great, because I have incredibly thick hair. That being said, the only downside I would say is the size of the bottle. I emptied the bottle within probably two weeks!

I was skeptical about this Green Tea Face Wash. It was my first time using any The Body Shop products, which doubled my risk of buying this...but I freakin' love it!! If you are not a fan of strong scents, especially woodsy scents, this is not for you. If you also have sensitive skin - this is definitely not for you. This face wash is pretty strong, it gives you a tingly feeling, which is what I like, but I also found the chemicals to be a little drying for my skin. However, that doesn't deter my opinion on how well it works with stubborn acne! My face cleared up so quickly. I do want to buy it again, but I'll savor it this time, and not go too crazy.

AYESHA: I did not like the scent of this face mask. Oh god, I had to close my eyes and bump my head to hard core metal just to get my mind off the stank..Okay, so I feel like it's just me, because my sister wasn't bothered by the smell at all. The main use of this mask is soothe and enhance glow to your skin. I actually loved the outcome of my skin after using this stinky baby. I would buy it again.

CATASTROPHE COSMETIC: Blueberry is the main ingredient of this mask..and oh damn it smells good. I guess I can't give my true opinion of this mask because I think they gave me an expired product! Compared to the Ayesha mask, the consistency was very dry and clumpy. It didn't glide onto my face smoothly like how the other did. Unfortunately, I found this one to be too drying for my skin too...I might just buy it again because I feel like I didn't get the true potential of the product.

This body lotion smells divine!! It smells like vanilla bean, but not like the artificial scent. :D So I have very dry skin, and I was recommended by the sales clerk to get this lotion to help my ashyness. Heh. It worked wonders. It did not clog my pores, nor did it feel gunky or sticky on my skin. It was perfect. I would compare the consistency of the lotion like hair conditioner but with the moisturizing effect like a body butter.

Okay, so I have a love/hate relationship with this shampoo. So where to start? Apparently, I like starting off my review with how it smells, so I'm going to say it's a thumbs up in that department. It smells like a clean sea-ish scent. If I were to ever meet a mermaid (what Darryl?), they would definitely smell like this shampoo. It kind of gives me a calming feeling smelling this...I feel calm just thinking about it. Gahh, okay enough. Like most people who have tried this product, it is VERY drying to your hair. I only added a miniscule amount of product to the lower half of my head and it was still very drying to my hair. However, the title doesn't lie, this shampoo makes your hair BIGGG.

Finally, the best for last - Nars matte Foundation in Syracuse. I.LOVE.IT. That it all I hafta say about it. It's not too heavy for my oily skin, and it doesn't look cakey. The color is a match made in heaven with my skin pigment. I guess the only bad thing I have to say is about the packaging, not the product itself....get a pump!!

I'm pooped, k night.
