May Birchbox

 Better late than never, right?!
I wanted to try out all the products before documenting what I got; that way it gives me a better grasp of what I'm talking about. Besides, it's like killing two birds with one stone - an extra bonus review of each product!

As you can see, this is the Gossip Girl edition of the box. The first thing I found inside the yellow and pink wrapping, was the Sweepstakes-ish card. You had to watch the season finale of GG in order to answer the questions and enter....too bad I checked my mail late and missed out on the fun...eh. It's okay, I don't watch GG as religiously as I used to back in high school.

So let's get on with the goodies!

Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
This was a full sized product and of course, I was extremely excited! I love this brand and liquid eyeliner, so I automatically thought, "I'm Sold!". Too bad once I turned the box around, I found the color of the eyeliner to be BLUE. No offence, but when I think of blue eyeliner, I automatically think of hooker makeup. No, let me take that back..eh, actually not. Okay okay, I'm not a fan of the color, but I absolutely love the formula! It glides on very well to the skin and it doesn't have an overbearing sparkle to it. It's perfect! I'll try to make something out of the color.

Color Club Foil Collection Nail Varnish : Disco Nap
I was pleased to get a nail polish, especially this color! It's extremely glittery and I LOVE it! I'm obsessed with glitter -_-' The size is pretty big for a sample. I would compare it to Essie nail polish. There is nothing bad I can say about this product.

Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream SPF 25+
I love BB creams, I currently own the Missha BB cream in Light Beige. However, knowing in hind-sight that  BB creams usually stock in lighter colors, I wasn't too thrilled when I found this product in my box. I'm super tan and when I applied the product to my skin, it was WAYY to light. I know that once you let the liquid sit, the color will adjust to your skin while it oxidizes. But this was like ghost status on my skin. HAHA.
AAAND...did I mention that there was barely any product in the sample tube! I swear, I can even say it was empty. Blah, it's okay.

Kerastase Cristalliste Bain Cristal - Fine
Let's begin by confirming this is a shampoo. From the packet, I couldn't distinguishes the difference between shampoo and conditioner! I literally had to read the fine print. Haha fun times.
Soo, I love the scent of this shampoo! I feel luxurious when I lather this onto my hair. However, my thick hair sucked up every inch of the sample pack...literally! It was barely enough dangit! I wish I could buy it, but it's way too expensive. :(

Kérastase Lait Cristal Conditioner
The conditioner was just as good as the shampoo! Once again, my thick long hair was still thirsty after the teaser of a sample goodness. I have to say I did like the shampoo a bit more because the formula of the conditioner was quite thin. It disintegrated very quickly!


Kérastase Cristalliste Lumiere Liquide
Oh. My. Word. I am not so much of a serum person. Usually because they tend to get too oily for my hair, leaving my hands quite sticky too. But once I lathered this golden baby onto my hair, I was impressed! Once again, it smelt soo luxurious and the formula is light and airy. It didn't leave my hair oily one bit. It made my hair shiny and well hydrated as well. Gahhalsdfkj.

Soooo, that's all folks. Altogether, I really liked my experience with my very first Birchbox and I can't wait for the next box!
