Hi, I'm new...and I'm a certified Lushie.

Hmm.. I have contemplated for the longest time of getting a new blog, specifically a Blogspot one. However, I tediously argued in my head that it is a trap.
"It's a phase Darryl. You're going to get tired of this blog. Slowly but surely, you're going to abandon this one, just like you have with Xanga, and Livejournal."
"I don't think so. It's going to be different this time!"
Exhausted with this never-ending debate in my conflicting mind, I decided to finally conform. I did leave my Xanga behind with my middle school memories, as well as my Livejournal with my high school haze (not really). It's time to upgrade - College Craze!
I also decided that this blog will mainly focus on light-hearted posts filled with pictures and DIY projects. I'm leaving the serious stuff to my LJ. I've been saving the deep stuff for that one. See, I'm not one to ostracize!

Kay, that is that. On to my day.
I decided to ditch class today, knowing that I'd probably doze off to the sweet sound of my french teacher's accent....NOT. It seriously stresses me out decoding his accent in my head. I get tired. Instead, I stare at Shia Labeouf look-a-like who sits in front of me; or me and Arial try to find something to laugh at.
Sadly, Arial is in Arizona for her sorority.
This gave me another great reason to ditch class :D

I picked up my sister from work to take her to an interview at Excalibur. We headed to Tacos El Gordo for lunch; and boy, was it the best tacos I have ever tried! Totally authentic. Driving up to the place, an old hobo with a walker caught the corner of my eye. A plethora of shady looking people walking past didn't ease my tension either. All I was thinking was, "Where the heck is she taking me?!". Turns out once you enter the shop, everything changes. The environment was extremely friendly and welcoming. The spicy pork tacos was a kicker too.

Afterwards, we arrived at Excalibur and had quite an adventure running through the casino. Walking in there brought so many high school memories. I remember Alexis' family would get rewarded with free hotel rooms every other week. Alexis would invite me and Kelli to tag along, and we would head straight to the pool. Once my sister and I entered Tower II of the casino, the scent of chlorine filled our nostrils. Ahh, good times.

Afterwards, we headed to Lush at Mandalay Bay. Gosh, it is my weakness. This friendly....maybe too friendly worker, introduced us to a lot of products. She even gave us arm massages. Lmao. We ended up getting two face masks, a Blueberry bath bomb, and Honey I Washed the Kids soap. Gah. I need to stop spending money. I don't get my paycheck in another week...and it's not even gonna be a high one!

I took off right away after I bought those stuff, scared that something would tempt me to spend my money on the way out. Damn me and my wondering eyes. My sister and I took our separate cars and headed home. She beat me -_-' I knew I should have taken the side roads. Eff bumper to bumper traffic. Especially when people don't know how to freaking use their break! Gosh.

The things that shopping does to me :/
